Super Host - Super Star We couldn't be more impressed with the service Vicky and GLS crew have provided since they took over management of our property recently. Absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending GLS's services for property management - 5 stars all the way!
We were languishing in a quagmire of poor reviews and dim prospects for future bookings with Bachcare as their lack of care, attention to detail and general hospitality skills for guests and owners alike evaporated with high staff churn and no continuity of service, or, proper handover of property from manager-to-manager. We nearly decided to give up the short term rental market altogether!
That all changed from the day I contacted GLS. Vicky was a breath of fresh air - easy to communicate with, broad knowledge of the industry with great insight and sound advice on the local market, and, an amazing down-to-earth 'can do!' attitude that instantly puts you at ease that your property is in the most capable of hands.

desire to do the right thing. It was/is important to us, as absentee owners, to know that we have a
manager who lives locally, and who is directly contactable by both the quests and the owners.
When Vicky subsequently told us that she was setting-up her own property management
company, it was an absolute no-brainer that we would want to go with her. We were amongst the
first to sign up with Great Lake Stays and have not been disappointed. We have experienced an
excellent number of bookings, and even though our house is not the flashiest on the market, she
always presents it beautifully.
Vicky is fearless. When quests have contravened the agreement (too many quests, loud parties),
she has warned, then subsequently expelled quests from the property. That's what, as owners, we
want - someone who treats the property as if it were her own.
I can unreservedly recommend Vicky to prospective clients. She has a great support team around
her, she has a great sense of humour. She pays her bills on time, and she is contactable. Your
home is in great hands when it's with Vicky.

Graham Young 16 Mar 2023 very thorough, easy to communicate with, trustworthy I first met Vicky when enquiring about making our holiday home available for others to use through an accommodation provider Vicky was previously working for. As this was all new to us we had lots of questions and Vicky was patient and very helpful during the initial period of us setting up our home to the required standard. During the three years we had Vicky as our manager we found her to be very thorough, easy to communicate with, trustworthy and she maintained a high standard for our guests. We felt our home was well looked after.
When she resigned from that company the contrast with the subsequent manager we were given was like night and day. Frustration, poor communication and poor cleaning standards were just some of the reasons why we left this organisation five months later. We were very eager to join with Vicky again when she established Great Lake Stays.
It has just been a year now with Great Lake Stays and we cannot fault her service and support.
She is prompt with communication and gives us peace of mind if/when things come up that we aren't able to deal with living away. We have received consistently very good reviews which is a reflection on Vicky and our family working together.

months. In that 9 months we have seen a spectacular rise in bookings for our holiday home, entirely
thanks to her vast experience, attention to detail, wide advertising spread and great service to her
guests. We only get a chance to visit our place every couple of months, and we do not stress about what
is happening in between visits as Vicky and her team are in our place after each booking, making sure it
is immaculate. She has a very good eye for anything that is not right, and has the experience to know
how best to deal with it - that might mean sorting it out herself, arranging for contractors to visit, or
contacting us suggesting ways to resolve the issue. We could not be happier with her service.
