A 7 minute stroll through the reserve leads to the lake. Taupo town is 5 mins by car.

The space
When the pull out single bed is made it is not possible to shut the bedroom door. The bed can be moved into the upstairs lounge if needed.

The entire house is available for your stay.
Other things to note
The stairs are very slippery, be careful if just wearing socks.
Please be careful of the barrier around the deck as it is low and the drop is more than 1m on to the grass.
Lovely warm place on a cold winters day. The heat pumps were on and we could relax. Great beds.

Communication with our host was very quick, easy, helpful and thorough.
They were amenable to a couple last minute changes and a minor issue sorted quickly. The batch itself has gorgeous high ceilings for a cosy space which made it feel a lot more grand. It almost felt like a tree house by the water, very cool old school Lockwood feel.
The water view was nice, a little further back than it looked in the photo but a quick walk down the reserve to the water’s edge was the perfect night 1 sunset experience. The bed was comfortable, hot water and heating a plenty for 6 of us. Nice family feel living room, and easy use kitchen. Recommend for an affordable lake view property!

Great place to stay. Very comfortable bed and very clean inside, out. Love the view out the deck to the lake. Nice set out and the beautiful, colourful couch in the livingroom. Also the air-con through out the house. Had everything we need, very convenient. Will definitely come back there.
