With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, there’s plenty of room for everyone. There is a dell at the rear of the house with a large grassed area for the children to play.. The property is located in 2 Mile Bay area of Taupo and is only a 2 minute walk from the lake edge. Wander down the hill to the 2 Mile Bay Sailing Club and enjoy a cold beverage and a wood fired pizza. The space The rooms are decorated throughout with retro style and charm. Guest access

The house is a little dated in decor but everything is clean, well looked after, and in working order. It had everything we needed for two families of three.
Great location, only a few minutes drive to Taupo centre and few minutes walk to the lake, and the sailing club (lovely for an evening drink).
Communication was great and clear instructions. The driveway is a little tricky in that you have to approach from one direction but it didn't cause us any trouble at all.

Parking was a little difficult with our party having 5 vehicles. No space to turn around and had to back into neighbors drive to turn.

Great Lakes cottage was in a great location. Nice and close to the lake. The bedrooms downstairs (3) are really great. I would be a bit weary about who I put upstairs due to the stairs. Everything worked well. Great Lakes was easy to communicate with. We loved our stay and would recommend it.
